About Bradley

Hello and thank you for taking time to read a little about me. My name is Brad Whitley. I have a wife (Petra), 2 grown sons (Trevor and Seth) and 2 Australian Shepherds (Ripley & Champ). I have resided in Lincoln County, North Carolina my entire life and can't imagine calling any other place "Home".

After a career as Owner of a Textile Machinery Company, I made the decision to change career paths and obtained my Real Estate License in 2000, mainly because I was tired of traveling every week throughout the Southeastern United States. A year after obtaining my Real Estate License, I opened a Real Estate Firm and ran the business for 13 years. Throughout those 13 years, we were very successful and I'll always look back on those years with gratitude and satisfaction. However, owning a Firm took me away, to some degree, from what I loved about the Real Estate market which was "directly" helping people acheive their real estate goals. As an agent for Premier South, I am now able to get back to helping others while making lifelong friends along the way.

My experience within the industry has taught me so many things over the years but perhaps the most important thing I've come to understand is the importance of treating every transaction as if I were the client. What would be important if I were the one writing the check? How much attention to detail would I want my agent to possess? Would I want my agent to truly care or just be out to make a paycheck? Would I want my agent to be "Present" throughout the transaction or have him/her fall off the grid between contract and closing? Would I want my agent to possess above average negotiating skills?  I take my fiduciary responsibilites with the utmost sincerity and I uphold those same responsibilities throughout the transaction and after closing. I truly love what I do. I don't "have to" get up and work every day but I do "get to" get up and work for my clients each day. Hopefully you'll see the difference!
